Hello, my name is Hanna. I like to make stuff. I have a personal art tumblr. I want to be an art teacher. Or an astronaut! Here is my portfolio |
My mom’s bear keychain got worn out so she asked me to make her a monster one. She told her friends and they apparently needed to have one too.
So monster keychain gang!
just a reminder that there’s a 15% discount for you lovely tumblr-ers for monsters & the code is tumblr. :)
tumblr coupon code for monsters is TUMBLR. :)
don’t lie, you need a monster friend. I know.
I’m listing monsters on Etsy all week! They’re taking over my life!
monster coffee mugs I painted a while ago. :)
Here is a monster I made for Cara based on the duty tag I made for her when we were both RDs. (on lower left)
The other guy is a cold dragon commissioned by Garrett for Stephen based off of a dragon game/app that Stephen liked to play. It has a little Pokemon friend. Just because.
I hoard things like paint swatches and once in a blue moon I make things with them. Because free art supplies, man.
I used to do it a lot but haven’t in a few years until the last week or so when my stash of paint swatches seemed really enticing for some reason.
The first one is a bulldog saint (with gold leaf), the second is a ferret fiddler, and the third is a random monster with a ribbon and hoarded wallpaper sample and tissue box eyes/cookie. The first two were for holiday cards for friends and the last one was just a tag for some cookies in a bag.
monstahhhz
I made a headband today but they’re much more fun as weird glasses. Can someone make actual glasses like this because real glasses are boring.
ps- I copied this idea from some sort of photoshoot or magazine I saw a while ago. They’re just kind of neato.
more fun with polymer clay, yay!
I just made my own lunchbag for student teaching in the fall. It’s laminated fabric so I can wipe up anything that gets on it and the strap to hold it is the monster holding its own hand. AND his belly is chalkboard fabric so I can doodle on it. Also, the hands can come apart so I can just strap it onto my bag/purse if need be.
I feel pretty damn clever right now.
Not to mention excited for future lunchtimes. :D
sometimes people like it when I paint monsters on wineglasses.
I don’t like wine that much, but I’d like to imagine they make drinking wine just a bit more fun.

By Lucy Casson, this was one of the most interesting pieces at Shire Hall, I think it made you do exactly what the exhibition was named, Smile. She sculpts these fairy-like creatures that seemingly go around fixing things and scurrying around tables and what-not. Mesmerising to try and find them all and look at their individual activities.
By Child’s Own Studio, this is a fascinating project, that I’m surprised I haven’t seen before, they take drawings all done by young children and turn them all into handmade toys, check out their website they have so many whacky toys it’s all very Dr Seuss.
